QUOFATAFERUNT BERMUDA MARINE AND PORTS SERVICES (MARINERS) (WAVES: SOCA IN THE WATER) NOTICE 2026 BR 63 / 2026 The Minister responsible for marine and ports services, in exercise of the power conferred by section 12(1)(a) and (b) of the Marine and Ports Services Act 2021, issues the following Notice: Citation

1 This Notice may be cited as the Marine and Ports Services (Mariners) (Waves: Soca in the Water) Notice 2026. Interpretation

2 In this Notice, “boatman” includes a person who operates a personal water craft, commonly referred to as a jet-ski. Waves: Soca in the Water

3 The Waves: Soca in the Water event (“the event”) will take place on Saturday, 13 June 2026 between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Closure of Clarence Cove

4 All that area of water of Clarence Cove, Pembroke, south of a line marked with buoys located outside the entrance to the bay (indicated in the Schedule), will be closed to normal marine traffic during the event. Five-knot no-wake restriction

(1) All that area of water referred to in paragraph 4 will be patrolled by a marshal boat and security.

(2) All mariners, pilots and boatmen are required to exercise caution when approaching the area owing to the presence of swimmers. Offence
