BR 61 / 2026 ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1947 ROAD TRAFFIC (BERMUDA BICYCLE ASSOCIATION BRCC BICYCLE ROAD RACE) (VARIATION OF SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2026 The Bermuda Land Management Corporation, in exercise of the power conferred by section 7(2A) of the Road Traffic Act 1947 and section 21A of the Bermuda Land Management Corporation Act 1982, makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Bermuda Bicycle Association BRCC Bicycle Road Race)

(Variation of Speed Limits) Order 2026.

2. This Order applies to the contestants and to the vehicles attendant on the contestants in the Bermuda Bicycle

Association BRCC Bicycle Road Race on Bermuda Land Management Corporation roads in St. David’s to be held on Sunday, 31st May 2026.

3. The speed limits fixed by section 7(2) of the Road Traffic Act 1947 are hereby varied to the extent specified in

the first column of the Schedule in respect of the contestants and the vehicles attendant on the contestants in the Bermuda Bicycle Association BRCC Bicycle Road Race.

4. The relevant roads or parts thereof specified in the second column of the Schedule are hereby declared to be

subject, at the times specified in the third column of the Schedule, in respect of the contestants and the vehicles attendant on the contestants in the Bermuda Bicycle Association BRCC Bicycle Road Race, to the speed limit specified in the first column thereof.

SCHEDULE

SPEED LIMIT ROADS TIMES

75 kilometres The bicycle race commences and concludes at Clearwater Beach. 8:00am to per hour The participants proceed north along Cooper’s Island Road until 11:00am reaching the roundabout, then continue along Pepper Hall Road, then turn left on to Tommy Fox Road and continue along Southside Road and travel towards the roundabout. The participants traverse around the roundabout, making a U-Turn to return to Southside Road, then continue east along Southside Road, proceed to the roundabout where they exit onto Cooper’s Island Road and head south to the finish line.
